Naviglio Rosso | Milan

INTERIOR

Project: Hospitality | Year: 2023 | Location: Milan, Italy | Area: 60 mq

The project, located in the southern Navigli area of Milan, involved the transformation of a small apartment into a modern AirBnb. The intervention was guided by a vision of elegance and restraint, yet maintaining a cozy and functional atmosphere.

Color plays a central role in this project. The choice of a dominant palette of gray and burgundy gives the environment a timeless elegance. Gray, with its neutral tones, creates a calm and sophisticated atmosphere, while burgundy adds depth and warmth.

The gré log floor is a key element of this design. In addition to evoking the history of the Navigli, this natural material offers a balance between sturdiness and beauty. Its rustic texture complements the aesthetics of the apartment, creating a connection between tradition and modernity.

The main challenge was to maximize the use of the limited space. Every piece of furniture was carefully selected to combine form and function. The furniture features clean lines and contemporary designs that contribute to the refined look of the room. Every detail, from the choice of fabrics to lighting and accessories, was carefully considered to complement the overall aesthetic.
